The Exiled Prince
*The world is changing. Christianity is on the rise, and the Viking realm is torn apart by wars and petty feuds. The old ways are fading, and what it means to be a Viking is no longer certain.
Amid this turmoil, the young Prince Harald is driven out of Norway with just a handful of loyal men and a fierce will to return one day and claim what is rightfully his. A perilous journey lies ahead, but opportunity awaits in the Byzantine court and the famed Varangian Guard. Yet the Empress Zoe is a jealous woman, and she despises any man she cannot control.*
