currently on a 60hz monitor (i know). want to upgrade and cant decide between 144/165 and 240. mostly play valorant and cs, some single player. is 240 worth it over 144 or is it placebo?

60 to 144 is a massive jump, like night and day. 144 to 240 is noticeable but way smaller. coming from 60 any of them will blow your mind

for valorant and cs specifically 240 is worth it if your pc can actually push 240 fps. no point in a 240hz monitor if you sit at 150 fps
