Official announcement for Forza from Xbox Game Studios, published on Steam on October 15, 2026.
An FTO taken to the max, the 1998 Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R is available as the Autumn reward car from October 15 until October 22.
Starting with the engine, the Version R’s 2.0-liter V6 included MIVEC technology to optimize performance and responsiveness. Mitsubishi also got their hands dirty working on the FTO’s handling by adding a limited-slip differential and sport-tuned suspension.
The Japanese company knows love comes through the eyes first, so they equipped the Version R with a new body kit that not only looked stunning, but was also a major aerodynamic improvement. Version R decals in the panels and rear wing created the perfect finishing touch.
